Leaving Scotland in the early 90’s with a degree in textiles, Ian concluded his studies in London with a Royal College of Art master’s degree, and moved immediately to work for Romeo Gigli in Milan for 6 years arriving to head designer of print and colour. His following career path has included directing print at Versace, founding, with his partner, the brand Rohka, and a design consultancy studio with clients like Max Mara, Kashiyama and CP Company.
Ian founded ASHOWROOM in 2016, and it remains unique in its concept of providing all that a brand may need, while maintaining each designers independent commercial direction. . |
