Alec Bizby ran his sustainable eponymous label for nearly 6 years, before taking a hiatus in 2022 to complete his MA in Menswear Design at Central Saint Martins, London, where he won the Isabella Blow Fashion fund award.
In 2023 he showed at LFW, as part of discoverLAB. He then went on to hold a place as a finalist at the villa Noaille Fashion Festival in Hyères. Alec had the chance to develop garments in traditional Welsh tapestries, woven within his home town, as well developing jacquards with the Linen Company. |
His focus on sustainability, folklore and gentle romance has earned him several editorials in leading menswear magazines such as Document, WWD, Altered States, Luncheon and Fuuuucking Young.
Alec's primary goal is to deliver a product that both straddles the passed-down quality of a loved family garment, and to develop clothing that exists in a world that is sensitive, sustainable and focused on craft, thus providing a great depth to a contemporary collection. |
